Desired Profile• CA/MBA desired.

• Strong financial analytical skills & user of financial analysis systems. Good Excel knowledge.

• Effective project management skills and the ability to priorities to meet tight deadlines

• Experience of forecasting and budgeting with a developed understanding of the cause and effect relationship between multiple P&L line items

• Experience in working with multi-cultural and remote contacts required

• Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the areas of specialisation.

• Group facilitation, management skills, leadership and competencies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commercial understanding of the business coupled with a customer-centric approach

 



Job Description

The role is to provide support to the field finance team and to the business.
Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Forecasting:

o Preparation of a forecast based on historical trend analysis of actuals, inputs from business and other metrics. Ensure undertanding of potential risk/upside.

o Communicate forecast and variances explanations back to the field finance and co-ordinate forecast data processing and reporting

o Provide ongoing review of forecast submissions

• Revenue and expense tracking

o Monitoring of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue, expense and headcount figures, providing regular updates

o Research and provide answers on any revenue or expense variances that appear in the accounts

• Reporting and Analysis - development of performance management reports, working with both finance and business management to identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers

• Budgeting - Assist Finance Director in preparation of budget by providing the appropriate input

• Other

o Participate in cross functional programs and projects as required
