Job Description	#1) Technical Lead/L3 Support Engineer– File Systems Development Job Description This individual will be responsible to lead design, implementation and review of various features for world’s best Parallel Cluster File System (i.e. IBM GPFS) and other File Systems like AFS and DFS. S/He will provide technical leadership to the team and advice development manager with various planning activities. The individual will act as a mentor for junior members in the development team and will work closely with product architects and other technical leads in development and test teams. He will be expected to drive innovation, architect and develop new features in roadmap and product quality through his technical skills and prior experience. In L3 Support role, s/he will be responsible for providing level-3 technical support to product customer base. S/He will be expected to work closely with level-2 support team and customers to understand the issues, do detailed debugging and suggest work around to get the customer up and running. S/He will be expected to investigate failures, develop fixes/patches, testing and releasing of the patch to the customers. Job Skills Required A) Technical Skills - Strong architecture, design and development experience in file systems and clustering - Strong skills in systems software stack - Strong skills in storage and file system technologies - Strong AIX and Linux system programming including kernel development and debugging tools - Strong system programming skills in C, C++ and shell scripting - Good performance optimization skills for complex clustered NAS software stack - Strong problem solving skills - Exposure to clustering products a plus B) Soft skills - Ability to form and articulate product vision and interact with customers and partners - Ability to provide thought leadership, accessing risk and driving innovation - Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and mentoring skills Experience Required Technical Lead role requires 6-12 years of industry experience in product architecture, design, development and testing in systems/file systems/storage space and should have technically lead teams for 2-4 years. L3 –Support role requires 3-6 years of industry experience in product development, L3 support and testing in systems/file systems space. S/He should have BE in Computer Science and Electronics and preferably MS in Computer Science with proven track record of product delivery and technical leadership.
