Job Description	Project Summary The candidate will join an already existing development team and be involved in coding and participate in analysis and design and provide support for the Fundamental related systems & applications. He/she will be required to understand the requirement,functional and technical specification and will be involved in coding and testing. He/she will help drive the design and implementation of the integrated Fundamentals data collection tool of Thomson Reuters. He/She will work closely with content managers, business analysts, system architects, technical operations and quality assurance to ensure that application and database systems meet stringent design standards, ensure optimal performance, meet the business need and are scalable, reliable and easy to support. Essential Day to Day Responsibilities o 2 to 4 years of Development experience on C#, .Net, MS SQL o Experience working on WCF, WPF. o Understanding software requirements, and design, development (coding and testing) and support of production software o Reporting status of assigned work/tasks to the Tech/Project Leader/Manager o Participate in Meetings and discussion specific to the project Additional Information weekend work occasionally based on Project requirements & deadlines. 80% development and 20% maintenance At Thomson Reuters, we deliver intelligent information quickly and efficiently, so professionals have knowledge to act. Desired Profile	Education o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science or Information Technology Required Skills o 2 to 4 years in the IT or ITES industry, in software development, with a significant experience on C#, .Net, and Database. o Strong skills in Object Oriented Programing o Good knowledge of T/SQL Programming on SQL and other databases. o Knowledge of XML & HTML. o Usage of Version control tools. o Ability to learn and work with complex production software systems o Strong oral and written communication skills Desired Skills o Knowledge of Financial industry terms and applications, especially Company Fundamentals. o Knowledge of C++. o Experience in using MS office products. o Experience in working in a geographically distributed development team o Excellent in communication, logical and analytical skills. o Knowledge of SDLC Proces.
