As a technologist with client-facing responsibilities, interaction with team members and project managers is critical to ensure the successful completion of all technical phases of a project. The ideal candidate should combine superior analytical skills and business acumen with a strong grasp on Investment Management and Portfolio Accounting, and how technologies can be applied to help deliver industry-leading solutions. Purpose of Position we place an extremely high emphasis on our services and support. As such, this role is critical to the success of our customers and the company. It's important to show our customers a professional, well refined process for bringing new software live in their environment and getting them comfortable using the system as quickly and easily as possible. The purpose of this role is : - To manage the installation, implementation, and training process for new customers in order to bring them live with the system on the timeline mutually agreed. - To manage and maintain a strong relationship with customers in the effort to make sure they're live, happy, and open to discussing the experience they had with other prospects. - To manage projects with current customers who are interesting in acquiring new modules |
Desired Profile | Responsibilities The Implementation Consultant position includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Managing concurrent multiple software implementation projects - Running professional training sessions - Provide customers with subject matter consultation - Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents - Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures, in a timely fashion - Create project documentation and procedures - Testing of new versions, custom works or combo - Create/update documentation as needed, both for customers as well as for internal purposes - Requirements gathering, data mapping, procedural documentation - Performing installations and test/production upgrades - Database administration - Unscheduled site support - Providing SQL solutions including performance/turning - Establishing and maintaining client relationships - Business Development (Cross-sell additional services to clients) - Maintaining product, technical, and industry knowledge Qualification Qualifications include specific knowledge and abilities required to properly perform in the position. Broad knowledge of Portfolio Accounting/OMS Software packages 3+ years leading complex projects implementing software solution Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently Able to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative and team oriented environment Provide resolution and/or escalation to issues in a timely fashion Must understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Must possess sufficient technical knowledge to contribute and offer technology insight Demonstrated skills developing lasting 'trusted partner' customer relationships based on proven delivery results Strong oral and written communications skills and must possess experience at presenting and leading meetings with senior executives Must be detail oriented and understand the importance of documenting project meeting minutes, action items and discussions/decisions held with project teams Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques Experience working in accounting and/or with accounting systems |
