Job Description	Windows Linux System Administrator Work Location: Chennai Experience: 3-7Yrs Primary skills windows and Secondary skills Linux Windows skills required Windows 2003/2008 System Administration Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory Design / Implementation Group Policy implementation Migration of FSMO roles Users rights and Account Management Scheduling backup using NTBACKUP Windows Clustering Implementing & Configuration Active /Passive node on Windows 2003/2008 Hyper-V, Server virtualization, Image snapshot creation and restoration Understanding of DNS/DHCP/IIS Server Data center Management & Technical Support: Server Monitoring Vendor co-ordination Scheduling backups Server Build, Knowledge of IBM / DELL Server models LINUX Skills required Knowledge of installation, configuration, upgrade, monitoring & tuning for optimization of operating systems. Setup, configure and maintain Linux servers running web servers, databases, Squirrel Mail, Post fix applications. Install configure, and maintain respective operating system servers. Schedule and performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Schedule and perform system backups. Develop and maintain OS h/w and s/w configuration database/library Good Knowledge of Linux Cluster, Linux Fencing Knowledge of monitoring tools like NAGIOS Good Knowledge on Storage technologies
