Job Description	Performs engineering duties within the assigned Engineering Department. • Must be able to do modeling & designing in CAD package. • Makes recommendations based on sound engineering principles, practices & judgment pertaining to specific engineering problems as a contribution to the overall engineering & manufacturing objectives. • Prepares engineering design & details of plastic parts, as assigned, for the design, costing & construction of development machines. • Performs engineering calculations to determine the size & strength of parts, solves design problems & checks computations contributing to analytical designs.
Desired Profile	• Engineering for new vehicle products in plastic components • Work experience in plastic design such as bumper systems, etc... • Concept and design development of plastic components  • Lead, execute analysis of system and / or component requirements and specifications and ensure proper cascading within the cross-functional team • Adequate knowledge of Plastic manufacturing, assembly processes, fixtures.  • Experience in supporting R & D projects from program start to production within automotive industry (OEM, supplier) • Basic to advanced knowledge in systems design and engineering in the area of plastic components • Knowledge of Automotive Design applications and processes and / or releasing tools like Team Centre • Exposure to Vismockup will be an added advantage • Proficient in Surface modelling, GD&T using CATIA V5 • Creativity, innovative approach, flexibility, driven for results
