US IT Recruiter 1 - 2 Years Urgent Opening


Requirements:

- College degree in CS/Engineering.
- Technical background (IT education/experience is required)
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years of professional recruiting experience in IT positions.
- Software proficiency - MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Internet savvy (Job boards, Google etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Weekend recruiting will be required ( They would be required to work one Saturday per month)
- Well versed with online resume banks like Dice.com, CareerBuilder.com, Monster.com etc.
- Handled assignments at various levels by means of head hunting, networking, data bank, and passive searches.
- Ability to support US hours from 8 am - 10 pm in various shifts is required
- Position requires problem-solving, self-starter with a positive attitude who requires minimal oversight, quick-learner, flexible, and good follow-through skills
- Team player (prior background in sports / extra-curricular is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Understand the job requirements and screen/interview the short listed candidates before they are forwarded to Hiring manager to maintain a high level of Interview to offer ratio.
- Scheduling interviews, Reference checks and candidate follow-up to maintain a high offer to start ratio
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and consultants on a regular basis.

As a Technical Recruiter, the candidate will embrace a broad spectrum of responsibilities supporting the Client Account Managers. The candidate’s main focus will encompass core recruiting functions including posting jobs, short listing candidates, conducting research and managing the recruitment process on an as-needed basis. An ability to navigate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ease will allow him / her to be productive immediately. His / Her efficiency will be the key for him / her to produce quality results while juggling various tasks in a high output environment.
