Job Description
Languages & Programming Skills: C, PERL, Python, Shell
Bugs tracking & management tools: Bug-Zilla, Bug Tracker, JIRA etc.
Hardware & Protocol Knowledge : Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, PCI/PCI-Express, Audio, Video
Operating systems: Linux / Android
Good Programming Skills in C.
Good Scripting Skills preferably in PERL, Python & Shell.
Good understanding of OS Internals, Device Drivers.
Basic knowledge of ARM / other processor architectures
Experience on test automation using C/Perl/Python.
Experience on testing embedded products.
Exposure to Application development or Kernel development
Knowledge of different Hardware, Protocols and testing tools in domain Multimedia / Connectivity domains. (Audio, Video, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, I2C, USB, PCIe etc.)
Good analytical and debugging skills.
Fast Independent learner and self-starter.
The candidate should be able to independently handle the activities.
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
Job responsibilities for this position include test planning, execution, automation, analysis and debug.
Candidates will be responsible for testing and verifying different system software components applications/protocols/device drivers/OS compatibility issues in conjunction with ASIC products.
Additional job duties include studying new system level features and working closely with HW, SW and System engineers to come up with comprehensive test strategies to evaluate them.
Will conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. They will also be responsible for automating these test cases using Perl scripting language...More
