Job Description

We are hiring Jr. System Admin for our Chandigarh branch.
Job description is as follows:

• Setup and configure and Windows Server 2003 /AD / Network.

• Installation of software’s ie.windows xp / windows 7,MS-Office etc.

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the availability of all hardware, server resources, systems.

• Reviewing system and application logs.

• Perform backup of the server.

• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.

• Configure / add new services as necessary.

• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.

• Configure desktops/laptops/thin clients with proper restrictions and security settings.

• Create, change, and delete user accounts.

• Configuring MS-Outlook.

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues.

• Working knowledge on VOIP.

• Knowledge on Linux.

• Monitoring of internet links.

• Configuring and maintaining wireless router.

• Maintain operational, configuration and other procedures.
