Manager- HR Generalist /Asst Manager -HR Genaralist

Job Description
Deliver customer focused HR services to the Strategic Business Units that
contributes to the attainment of the business objectives. The strategic
partnership between the HR and the BU impacts the HR services such as
performance management and compensation, career and succession planning and
employee development.
Lead a team of HR generalists to Design, Implement, Execute and Measure programs
and initiatives around areas such as hiring, skills development, performance
management, rewards and recognition, compensation management, succession
planning for the BU workforce, that contributes directly to the attainment of
business objectives . Achieve people management goals for the BU by partnering
with the BU management.
Essential Duties and Functions
BSE Lead is the single point of contact for the entire Business unit for
HR services. Based on the goals of the BU, the BSE-Lead develops and
implements workforce initiatives and programs that include, but not limited to:
Change Management
Learning Interventions
Managing Performance
Communication Management & Conflict Resolution at all levels
Discipline and Compliance
Coach senior and front line Managers to handle people management issues
Champion HR initiatives and the effective implementation of HR
strategies, policies and best practice across the Business unit.
Develop and promote effective and credible working relationships with
the front line managers and BU leadership team.
Analyze Business Challenges and identify\suggest improvement
opportunities such as attrition management, succession planning, accelerating
leadership growth etc.
Liaise with the BU and L& D team to identify skill demands and gaps and
ensure effective delivery of suitable learning and development programs
Identify A roles in the organization and ascertain if A players are playing
those roles
Make sure Employee Engagement levels are top notch for these players through
rewards and recognition, compensation, career development, review and feedback
and competency development programs.
Partner with the BU management to implement the goals and vision.
Clearly understand the BU objectives
Design, implement and execute programs to drive the HR strategy and put
measurement systems in place to define success.
Partner with Line Managers and drive BU success
Understand that there is shared responsibility with Line Managers on BU
success
Help setup management systems and people management best practices.
Provide operational support with partnering groups and driving SLA based
execution.
Educational Qualification
Post Graduate Degree\Diploma in Human Resource Management from XLRI/TISS/Symbiosis/KJ Somaiya/MSW / IIM's or any other reputed Institute
Recommended Min Relevant Years of Experience
6-12 years of HR experience, preferably in the IT industry ( Any CMM level 5 company)
