Sr Software Testing Engineer - Windows Multimedia

Job Description

The candidate will be involved in QCT Windows Multimedia test team which includes Video Functionality testing, performance/optimization testing and analyzing the Multimedia issues. In this role, the candidate will work closely with the Multimedia Developers, Integration team and the testing group.

Typical tasks comprise test plan definition, test case development, execution - results interpretation and reporting, competitive analysis, issue debugging, enhancement and automation of test procedures as well as analysis tools - with an end goal of system level feature completeness, stability & optimization

Desired Profile

Candidate should have 3-6 years of experience Familiarity with Multimedia testing, knowledge of Audio and Video Codecs Familiarity with the basic Telecommunication knowledge such as 2G, 3G .. Familiarity with Test methods, Defining test plans, test scripts.. Candidate should have good verbal/ written communication skills. Should have good problem solving/ debugging skills Familiarity with standard lab equipment such as Agilent, Anritsu and power supplies is a plus Be flexible to assignments and easily work in a team environment.
