Job Description	- Hands-on design and development in cutting edge mobile internet gateway platforms. - Interact with various mobile wireless application(GGSN, LTE S/P gateways etc.) teams to understand the requirements. - Come up with architectures, design and implement software modules, with descriptive documentation. Also work out schedules for the same. - Work with geographically separated teams closely for successful and timely delivery of projects. - Understand and write programs for different processors(MIPS/PowerPC/x86) running different operating systems. (Linux, IOS, QNX) - Solve customer issues, with possible debugging on large service provider networks and ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction. - Analyze and solve complex technical problems, viewing it from different perspectives. - Mentor and guide newer team members.
Desired Profile	Skill requisite: Languages: Must: Strong C programming skills Desirable: Basic shell scripting, any exposure to Tcl/Perl/python. Some familiarity with x86/PowerPC assembly. OS: UNIX/Linux, IOS, RTOS Tools: GDB, JTAG, SCM systems(Clearcase/BitKeeper) - Experience in new hardware board bring-up, writing device drivers, embedded systems, platform level software in C. - General networking knowledge. Mobile internet architecture (3G and 4G networks) knowledge is an advantage. - Exposure to high availability, security, IPv6, SNMP, OS infrastructure, 7600 platforms, radius, AAA, policy control, iSCSI an advantage. - Experience in 3G/4G gateway development is a big plus. - Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, verbally and in written form. - Collaborate with peers to work as a cohesive and motivated team.
