Job Description

The individual will be responsible for definition of solutions and components of GTS’ Storage Reference Architecture. The role will be part of the Storage Specialty Service Area in GTS. This role is responsible for the design of storage infrastructures and components required for the efficient and high quality delivery of storage solutions. The solutions will integrate storage devices, storage networks, and storage functions into world class, best of breed storage solutions. Candidates should have deep skill in solution architecture and integration, storage management, current methods and capabilities like data de-duplication and storage tiering into business oriented solutions. Candidates are expected to be well versed in IBM Architectural Methods, and be creative designers of complex solutions.
