Job Description
Responsible for Defining Vehicle level Electrical & Electronics (E & E) systems/aggregates including Engine Management System for FIO vehicle range (LD/MD/HD/SCV).
Responsible for Technical project management from concept stage to production for E & E aggregates / systems.
Responsible for E & E system application for a product family like HD/LD/SCV.
Ensuring vehicle level performance like Fuel Economy by defining suitable E & E System / Aggregates.
Leading a team of engineers for EE system definition, development & Vehicle level Integration.
Supporting Head Electricals in making & executing development plan as per FIO PD process
Ensure adherence to PD process.
Dealing with different suppliers and internal agencies to ensure timely delivery.
Dealing with different third party test agencies for Vehicle /sub system /aggregate prototype tests.
Developing team for superior performance.
Desired Profile 1. In depth knowledge of automotive Electrical & Electronics systems of Commercial Vehicles Functional, design aspects, Application & integration. Understanding of the functional and physical interactions between vehicle sub-systems.
Experience in design and development of one or more of the following E & E aggregates & systems:
Instrument Cluster, Switches, Infotainment System, Navigation system, HVAC E&E system, ECU's for Engine Management System, ABS system and its sensors.
In depth knowledge of all legislative national standards (CMVR/ AIS) and International regulatory
Standards ( EEC, ECE,GB etc.)
Knowledge & Exposure to various manufacturing Processes related to E & E systems / aggregates and other systems of commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of DFMEA/DFM/DFS process and modelling software like Catia V5, CATIA V5 Electrical Module.
Knowledge of preparing BOM and costing.
Knowledge of PLM (Product Life cycle Management) tools.
Experience 8 12 Years
