Job Description

SDN is an emerging disruptive technology for Computer Networking. Its goal is to simplify the deployment of many new network applications as well as to enable the Internet of Things (IoT). It enables network virtualization to help the network evolve at software speed through centralized control planes and an open, standards based interface to the network hardware infrastructure. It defines new protocols and enabling architectures such as Openflow, and Overlay networks.
As a member of the IBM System Networking group, the candidate will play a key role in the design and development of cutting edge products and features in the area of SDN and network virtualization. The candidate will work alongside a team of highly talented and experienced engineers in defining, designing and delivering solutions in this next-gen technology
Desired Profile More than 5 years of desired experience required
Required Qualification : BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MS/MCA
16 or more years of education required
Required Skills - Technical and Non Technical
Proficient in Core Java/J2EE programming
Solid understanding of Data Center Network architecture
Networking (Embedded (switching/routing), Operating Systems (drivers, vswitches, TCP/IP stack)
Virtualization technology (as a user or as a kernel/userspace/API developer)
Ability to contribute in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Can-do attitude and passion to learn and experiment
Must be able to work in a global team environment
Experience 5 - 10 Years
