Senior Network Systems Engineer
Job Description:
This senior engineer position is responsible for providing day-to-day operation of the enterprise data networks access layer, as well as testing new Core and Access layer network configurations. This position is also responsible for developing test plans and coordinating, reviewing and installing/changing network projects in collaboration with systems, infrastructure, NOC (Network Operations Center), and data center engineers.

1. Network and system design
Responsible for Access layer and workgroup network design from requirements to implementation
Maintain the CORE network high availability and connectivity
Create and implement Router configurations based on network and security best practices
Test network components and design as part of projects and expansion before they are put into production
Keep up to date and familiar with Cisco network equipment, IOS revision levels and life cycles
Expert with routing protocols
Expert with Layer 17, multicast, fiber optics, 802.11, and TCP/IP
Familiar with UNIX and command set
Ability to implement products such as QIP, IronPort and Bradford System
Analyze network traffic to provide recommendations for solving problems or improving the network... More
