Understanding the technical problem and arriving at the physics to achieve solution
Generating FE model, Preprocessing & Post-processing
Coming up with technical reports including recommendations
Experience in Turbomachinery products like Gas turbines, Steam turbines, Hydro turbines, Wind turbines.
Experience in Aero-structures analysis and hand-calculations
Knowledgeable in Commercial tools like Ansys, Abaqus, Hypermesh, Nastran, Patran

Experience: 2 to 7 yrs.

Adhere to the organization’s software development standards.
Maintain current products (bug fixes).
Perform and design unit tests.
Perform sub system test.
Devise detailed design from high-level/functional design provided to him/her.
Perform code review.
Lead a task, development and testing.
Work closely on all levels with the client.
The person should be open to travel if needed, for a duration of at least 2-3 months.
The person should be open to work on support project.
Coach/mentor others in their work.
Work under loose supervision.

Job Description
Overall Responsibility
Daily/ Ongoing
Perform Code Review of Requests for Change (RFCs) – (Eg: PL/SQL, Packages, Forms / Reports/ Workflows)
Ensure standards are being followed (naming, variable use, layout, etc.)
Ensure that performance (such as LIratio, etc) standards are being followed
Ensure that outstanding RFC’s are within expected review turnaround times
Participate in Performance Tuning as requested/ needed
Contribute tProcess Improvement activities & Internal Reporting / Development requests
Providing scope, resource and time estimates for projects presented tQA for testing and analysis
Review Code against standards tsee if Performance Improvement are possible
Raise concerns in the QA process tthe Oracle PMfor process improvement
Weekly
Deliver Metrices around weekly QA turnaround activity
Provide weekly estimate of workload and the ability of the QA team tsupport that workload
Skills & Experience Required
2 years of Oracle Application Development experience with a large multinational company
Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Client/ Server and Web based Technologies.
Knowledge of Oracle 9i and 10g architecture, knowledge of 11g a plus.
Experience with both PL/SQL and SQL.
Development Experience with Oracle Reports, Forms, Packages, Procedures.
White Box Testing / Code Review experience preferred but not mandatory.
Performance Tuning experience preferred but not mandatory.

Desired Profile
Strong experience in Oracle Apps development is a prerequisite.
2 years of Oracle Application Development experience with a large multinational company
Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Client/ Server and Web based Technologies.
