Job Description
The Oracle DBA is responsible for installation and technical configuration of the Oracle databases in multiple environments. The Oracle DBA provides systems and database administration for the Oracle Technical environments, and applies necessary patches and upgrades, managing backups for the environment. * Must have good knowledge on Oracle Architecture, conduct complex ORACLE database systems technical reviews to improve performance, resource utilisation and integrity. * Must have hands on experience on RMAN, Oracle Dataguard (Physical and Standby Databases) , ASM * Competent enough to analyze AWR report for performance issues. * Provide Oracle Technical support for the Banking Project * Investigate and resolve problems arising in all aspects of the ORACLE environment. * Investigate, and provide solutions to, technical issues concerning the management and utilisation of ORACLE software products. * Liase and manage clients satisfaction on technical issues related to Oracle Database. * Liase with Oracle Corporation for all technical solutions * Manage a team of Database Administrators * Must have got certified in Oracle 11g Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills. Should have Good attitude and People handling /coordination Skills/Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. * 8-10 Yrs of desired experience required Required Skills - Technical and Non Technical Oracle 11G Administration and Management Hands on exposure on RMAN, ASM, Oracle Dataguard Analyse Performance related issues using AWR
