Job Description
The role is to architect, design, and develop software to support a WLAN chipset integrated into MSM HW platforms, focusing on the MAC layer software development on the QNX and/or Android platform.
Skills/Experience:
3 to 6 years of industry experience in real time embedded telecom systems
The candidate must be proficient in C, and possess good analytic and problem solving skills.
Good understanding of real time operating systems concepts, data structures and software development lifecycle
Knowledge and experience in 802.11 wireless protocolsis a big plus
MAC protocols implementation is a plus (preferably wireless MAC)
Hands on Qnx/Windows/Linux Device driver development is a big plus.
Team work, communication and interpersonal skills.
Software design and development for 802.11 QNX/Androiddriver and 802.11 MAC.
Work with cross functional team to understand and define the requirement.
Support internal and external customers for all the issues related to 802.11 QNX/Android driver.
