Primary Duties and Responsibilities
An absolute focus on risk controls. The teams will be responsible for reconciling and accurately representing traders’ positions. The tolerance for error or delay is very low to zero.
Trade reconciliation of European, Asian and US markets including Canada (Exchange/ OTC & Broker Matching).
Balance of internal clients and market executions to external records.
Research and monitor differences from T/D to T+N.
Interact with contacts from business units and trade support staff revolving trades discrepancies.
Identify, amend and monitor the resolution of problematic transactions.
Participate with testing of new market side activity. Assure processes are straight through.
Understand and comply with market risk, escalation awareness, and daily oversight.
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete communications between the Mumbai center and trade support groups and other operations/finance/IT/business teams in the various offices
May have to travel for extended periods during the transition period (weeks to months) if required.
Learn Morgan Stanley’s businesses, organization, procedures, controls, systems, and staff management practices, as rapidly and thoroughly as possible.
